The Bank of Irad licenses and supervises commercial banks, microfinance institutions and currency exchange offices in the Irad Special Economic Zone. Only the institutions in this register may take deposits or accept payments from the public.

Currency exchange offices
The register of licensed currency exchange offices is being updated. Until it is published, currency should be exchanged at the branches of the licensed banks above, at the official rate.
Not licensed
Money changers in markets and in the street, and payment services offered to residents without a licence (see Notice 2026/5), do not appear in this register. Balances and cash entrusted to them carry no protection.
